Barcelona Port to Marinaview

Cruise passengers often ask about getting to and from the cruise ships.

Moll Adossat or World Trade Centre Piers

Instructions on how to get here:
The Moll Adossat pier, is quite far out in the port. See the map below.

(There is another terminal at the World Trade Centre, but few cruises tie up there. If your ship is there, the same instructions apply except, in addition, it would be possible to walk to us if you didn’t have too much luggage). To get to our guest house from it you have basically 2 options:

• Take a taxi from the terminal to the front door. This would take max 10 mins. If you don’t have the address to hand, call us for directions to the front door (0034)678854456. Expect to pay about 20 euros for this taxi ride.

• Take the shuttle bus (These go regularly throughout the day. It says T3 PORT on the front) that stops at the terminal. Last stop of this shuttle is the Columbus statue (at the meeting of Las Ramblas and Passeig Colom streets…only 2 mins walk from our house). Get off the bus, stand with your back to the sea in front of the Columbus pillar. The road that stretches to your right (northwards) along the sea-front is Passeig Colom. If you don’t have the address to hand, call us for directions to the front door (0034)678854456. It's a 2 min walk. Again the shuttle journey should be under 10 mins. The shuttle bus costs in the region of 2 euros/person.

from MARINAVIEW to the PORT:

(There is another terminal at the World Trade Centre, but few cruises tie up there. If your ship is there, the same instructions apply except, in addition, it would be possible to walk  if you didn’t have too much luggage). To get to the terminal from MARINAVIEW you have basically 2 options:

• Take a taxi from front door of MARINAVIEW. This would take max 10 mins. Ask for Moll Adossat and the name of the ship. Expect to pay about 20 euros for this taxi ride.
• Take the shuttle bus (these go regularly throughout the day).The first/last stop of this shuttle is the Columbus statue (at the meeting of Las Ramblas and Passeig Colom streets…only 2 mins walk from our house). On leaving the bed and breakfast turn right. At the first opportunity (it’s actually in front of the Columbus pillar/statue) turn left and cross the street. Next to the tourist information booth there is a bus stop especially for the port shuttle bus. The shuttle bus costs in the region of 2 euros/person.

Which route you decide would depend on time and also the quantity of luggage you have.

Check before you go the possible check-in time for the cruise, as they have a tendency to be very strict on this issue.
