HOW TO GET TO MARINAVIEW FROM THE AIRPORT (3 WAYS)

As for the best way to arrive here from the airport, there are 3 options: taxi, the aero-bus or the train.

A taxi takes about 30-40 minutes and the cost is approx. 30-35 € depending on the traffic and your luggage (in addition to what the taxi-meter shows, a surcharge is made  for a pick-up at a train station, pier-head or airport and an additional sum per piece of luggage is charged: about 1 euro per piece).

The bus (Aerobus/ a blue single-decker) stops right outside the Airport terminals. It leaves every 15 minutes (about 5 €) and it’s about  a 30-40 minute ride. It stops at Plaza Catalunya (a screen displays the names of the stops). Get off and head for the underground (Metro/entrance at the top of Las Ramblas). Take the green line/line 3 (direction Zona Universaría) and get off at Drassanes. Once in the street, face the Columbus statue (a large pillar  at the bottom of the Ramblas, you can’t miss it), walk towards it and turn left into a wide street along the marina/sea-front (Passeig Colom). The train is the third option. There is a station at the airport. Follow the signs to get to it. Take the train to Sants station (between 2€ and 3€). Get off and inside the station you will find a metro (underground station). Go down, buy a ticket (1,40 €) and head for line 3 (green), direction Trinitat Nova. Get off at Drassanes. Once in the street, face the Columbus statue (a large pillar  at the bottom of the Ramblas, you can’t miss it), walk towards it and turn left into a wide street along the marina/sea-front (Passeig Colom).

THE ADDRESS

We are often asked why we don’t put our address on the web, relying on giving our address and full directions on the reservation confirmation. The reason is simple: Due to our small size (6 rooms), and the nature of our business (renting rooms in a private house) we don’t have any of the facilities expected in a hotel e.g a reception service. We can only function by agreeing with the clients their arrival time and making sure there is someone here to let them in. We can’t deal with chance-callers, as we don’t have the staff to man the office all day and night every day.
