As Paris and Milan, Barcelona has become one of the fashion capitals. If you're looking for small specialty boutiques in vintage items, the historic center of Barcelona will be your favorite place. If you like architecture don't forget to go to Illa Diagonal (Metro: Maria Cristina, line 3) a huge shopping centre which building is considered the most interesting in terms of architecture after the Olympic complex.
But if you what you really like are monumental and ultra modern shopping malls, do not forget to go to the Commercial Centre de les Glories (Metro: Glories, line 1). A whopping 56,300 square feet dedicated to retail and entertainment with 166 shops of all kinds will be waiting: fashion (men, women and children), lingerie, beauty, shoes, sport, food, electronics...
